Color Wheel

For the first wheel, paint with only primary colors to mix secondary and median shades. For the second wheel, paint with primary and secondary colors to mix any median shades.

Two-Color Gradient

Wet gradient two colors to meet as seamlessly as possible.

Trompe L’oeil

Work with white and black contrast to make a flat surface appear three dimensional.

Brick

Take scumble, sponging, and spattering techniques to create bricks from a stencil with added highlights and shadows.
